EVENT Photography.

What to Expect

We’re experienced at capturing events in a way that feels natural and polished, without being intrusive. We’ll arrive early (unless you prefer otherwise), quickly confirm your must-have shots and any consent or privacy requirements, then focus on a strong mix of candid moments, key people, and the details that tell the story of the day. You can expect around 80–100 edited photos per hour, clean true-to-life editing, and a 3–5 business day turnaround, delivered via an online gallery with high-res downloads.

Event Photography Brief

A clear event brief helps your photographer focus on the moments that matter, avoid any privacy or consent issues, and deliver images that actually suit how you plan to use them. Below are some things to consider discussing with us prior to your event.

    • Event name

    • Date

    • Time (start–finish)

    • Venue + address

    • What are the 3–5 must-have photos?

    • Where will the photos be used? (website, social, print, PR, internal)

    • Guest arrival

    • Speeches / key moments

    • Group photo time (if needed)

    • Who should we prioritise? (names + roles)

    • Who should we be introduced to on arrival?

    • Group shots (who + where + exact time)

    • Any specific set-ups/angles you want

    • Children present? Any rules about faces?

    • Any people to avoid photographing?

    • Any off-limits areas?

    • Signage / consent protocol (if relevant)

    • Primary contact name + mobile

    • Backup contact + mobile

    • Standard turnaround: 3–5 business days

    • 24-hour turnaround needed? (fee applies)

    • Social highlights needed? (fee applies)

Managing Consent

We’re experienced working at events where privacy matters, including community events and family-friendly spaces. If there are any photography restrictions, consent requirements, or children present, we’ll work with you to choose a clear approach before the day so everyone feels comfortable and we can still capture the story of your event.

  • We photograph the event as it happens, and guests can opt out by letting event staff or the photographer know.

  • Guests who do not want to be photographed wear a wristband or sticker, so we can easily avoid them.

  • We agree on specific areas where no photography happens (for example kids’ spaces, registration, or private areas).

  • We capture the atmosphere without identifying children, using wide shots, details, and angles that avoid faces.

  • Provide a list of specific people we must avoid, and we’ll prioritise avoiding them in capture and delivery.

  • We only take close portraits or small-group photos when people clearly agree.

  • We shoot flexibly so you have plenty of options, then you decide which images you’d like to use. We recommend clear signage at entry points stating the event is being photographed, so anyone who does not wish to be included can make it known.

  • If you need formal releases for certain images, you can provide your own forms, or we can supply a standard model release.
